As well as the Montreux Jazz Festival,
it is rumoured that Prince may well be headlining the UK's
Glastonbury Festival this summer (2013).
Although nothing has been formally
declared (with Prince, there's always suspense), according to K Carr,
The Daily Star, Prince has booked to play three gigs at Montreux in
July, leaving him open to perform at Glastonbury in June.
I would love to say that I'd be there,
but the idea of going to a festival, with the unpredictable British
weather and sweaty armpits in the audience, really doesn't rock my
boat. I do hope that Prince will rock some arena shows here in the
UK pretty soon. His 21 nights at the 02 arena back in 2007 was Power
Fantastic but way too long ago for the UK fans.
